Lakshadweep’s capital is Kavaratti. Like the other Lakshadweep islands, Kavaratti has relaxing warm sandy beaches for visitors to enjoy. Due to the abundance of starfish, anemones, sea cucumbers, countless multicolored fish, and amazing corals, the lagoons near Kavratti are spectacular despite the small beaches. The west of the island’s lagoon is perfect for swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, and canoeing. To the south of the island is Chicken Neck Point, an excellent location for water activities like scuba diving and snorkeling. While riding in a glass-bottom boat, tourists have the opportunity to see the plethora of marine life and a variety of extraordinary corals.
Bangaram has a teardrop-like shape. The small island of Bangaram is nearby Agatti and Kavaratti. Visitors can enjoy fantastic opportunities to unwind and escape the stresses of modern life at the island’s tourist resort. Bangaram shares a lagoon’s edge with the smaller islands of Thinnakara and Parali. Phosphorescent plankton that washes up on the coral sands gives the beach a lovely bluish glow at night. A boat or helicopter transfer from Agatti can get guests to this resort. Being the only resort on an uninhabited island in Lakshadweep lends it its own charm. Affluent, discerning travelers now regard Bangaram as a top travel destination.
