Kashmir is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful regions in the world, known for its stunning landscapes, majestic mountains, sparkling lakes, and verdant forests. Located in the northernmost part of the Indian subcontinent, Kashmir is a land of unmatched natural beauty and breathtaking scenery that has inspired poets, writers, and artists for centuries.

The region is known for its snow-capped Himalayan peaks, including the iconic Mount Everest, which is visible from many parts of the region. The lush green valleys, sparkling waterfalls, and crystal-clear lakes of Kashmir are also a sight to behold. The famous Dal Lake, located in the heart of the region, is particularly renowned for its scenic beauty and serene ambiance.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL – SRINAGAR

you will arrive at Srinagar Sheikh Ul Alam Int’l Airport, which offers one of the most scenic flights in the world. Srinagar is also known as the “City of Rashi’s & Sufi’s” and is the summer capital of the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and driven to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 02: SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

after breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and visit the Shankaracharya Temple, believed to be the place where the great philosopher and saint Shankaracharya stayed when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanathan Dharma. In the afternoon, you will visit the Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Garden, known as the “Garden of Pleasure,” built in the 16th century by Mughal King Asif Khan, and Shalimar Garden, known as the “Garden of Love,” built in the 16th century by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan. You will also visit Chashmashahi, the royal spring. In the evening, you will take a shikhara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake, where you will visit the floating vegetable gardens and enjoy bird-watching opportunities. You will stay overnight at your hotel in Srinagar.

DAY 03: SRINAGAR – SONMARG – SRINAGAR ( 87 Kms – 2 to 3 hrs One Way )

after an early breakfast, you will check out from your houseboat and leave for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, which means “Meadow of Gold” and is known for its scenic beauty, dense pine forests, and gigantic mountains. You can hire ponies or vehicles (direct payment basis) to travel up to Thajiwas Glacier, a major local attraction during the summer. You will return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 04 : SRINAGAR–GULMARG ( 56 km one way )

after an early breakfast, you will leave for Gulmarg, known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” which is at an altitude of 8700 ft and is a famous ski resort and home to the world’s highest 18-hole golf course. Shepherds originally referred to it as “Gaurimarg,” but Sultan Yusuf Shah gave it its current name in the 16th century. Upon arrival, you will have a full day to explore the destination and take the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, up to the 2nd phase. The Affarwat ridge at 3850+ meters offers an avalanche-controlled ski area that offers a wide field of snow to descend 800 m in approximately 3 km of skiing and is for advanced skiers only. In the evening, you will return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 05: GULMARG – PAHALGAM (148 Kms – 4 to 5 Hrs One Way)

after having breakfast, you will leave for Pahalgam. As you drive, you will pass by the saffron fields and reach Pahalgam, known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” This picturesque town is situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake. Once a humble shepherd’s village, Pahalgam now serves as Kashmir’s premier resort, offering breathtaking views and pleasant weather throughout the year. You can explore the beauty of the town and take a walk along the bank of the Lidder River. Pahalgam is famous for trekking routes and serves as the base camp for the Amarnath pilgrimage. It is also known for the Indian film industry (Bollywood). You will stay overnight at a hotel in Pahalgam.

DAY 06: PAHALGAM ( LOCAL SIGHTSEEING ) — SRINAGAR

after a leisurely breakfast, you will have a full day to enjoy and explore Pahalgam’s beauty on your own. You can visit Aru, a meadow with picturesque scenery, located 10 km from Pahalgam, and the starting point of trekking routes to Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier, and Trsar Lake. Betaab Valley, named after the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab, is another famous tourist destination, surrounded by lush green meadows, snow-clad mountains, and dense vegetation. Chandanwari, located 16 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra and famous for snow sledding on a snow bridge. Baisaran Valley is a lush meadow surrounded by hills and dense vegetation, offering picturesque views of the snow-clad mountains. In the evening, you will return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at a hotel.

DAY 07: DEPART SRINAGAR ( FLY OUT )
