This trek goes through remote valleys and lay back villages of Nandakini and Pindar river valleys.
Winter time is known for fairs and festivals in the mountains. We could see locals doing there cultural and social ceremonies under the shadow of the legendary Trisul massif

Day 1: Rishikesh-Mundoli-Wan (Drive 230km; 8-9hrs)

  • Drive 8 hrs Rishikesh to Wan via Mundoli
  • Stay in guest house/ Camping. (2000m)

Day 2: Wan-Kanol (Trek 10km; 4-5hrs)

  • Trek 10km; 4-5hrs to Kanol village
  • We will climb a thick wooded forest followed by a pass called “Kukin khal”.
  • A short walk leads us to remote Wan village.
  • Camping, 2600m

Day 3: Kanol-Dekhuna Dhar (Trek 12km; 5hrs)

  • Trek 12km; 5 hrs to Sutol.
  • We will  descend down to Nandakini valley and cross the Nandakini river to other side for Sutol village.
  • We continue our trek with few ups and down to Dekhunadhar village. Camping. (2100m)

Day 4: Dekhuna Dhar-Ghunni (Trek 10km; 4hrs)

  • Trek 10km; 4 hrs to Ghunni village.
  • We will be following a gradual walk through many villages.
  • Camping near the Ghunni Village. (2400m)

Day 5: Ghunni- Nandprayag-Rishikesh

  • A long drive through the beautiful Nandakini and Alaknanda River valleys to Rishikesh.
