Indian wedding tour is an exciting way to learn why we are obsessed with our weddings and what’s a must to–do list for a bride/groom-to-be!
We will take you to a market where you will get all the things for the wedding!
The market itself is so exciting because it’s an urban-rural melting pot where one can witness many subcultures of the city.

We are able to organize this kind of tour in India and at particular places which includes my birthplace, my hometown, and my maternal uncle’s village.

Though India has many destinations where you can go for wedding tours they will give you just day experiences but we genuinely want to provide the full experience.

We are always on the lookout for beautiful things for weddings – guises, gifts, decor.

After breakfast drive to the village and meet the family & bride/groom and get interaction with Local people too. Take a village tour and understand rural life.

Haldi, Mehandi, and Mandap: We use Turmeric 3 days prior to getting married and Mehandi in hands of a bride & groom 2 days prior to marriage. During this ceremony number of people gather to make it successful and women start singing folk songs and they dance a lot.

This is actually a joyful moment for every member of the family, relative, and neighbor. Everybody tries to give their best to make each event memorable. In the evening thousands of people come for dinner they must be from the above list of neighbors, friends, relatives, and family members. You can taste Indian oily, spicy, heavy, and light meals for lunch & dinner. You can dance along with the other guys while folk music and dance going on.

After dinner or sometimes between the dinner, there is a new Ceremony comes which people adjust as per the conveyance of all public.

FALDAN (ROKA): During this ceremony, a family Bridal gives some gifts, cash, a car, or bike, or the desired vehicle to the groom. This is actually a holy session where a PANDIT JEE takes full time of worship (POOJA) and it goes for 30 minutes to 01-hour program.
A brother of the bridal comes on stage to give all the stuff to the groom and they both participate in Pooja. Once this is done a crowd of the public including relatives, neighbors, and friends comes on stage one by one to give NYOCHAAWAR (gift money in happiness) to a lady called BUA (Bridal’s Aunty or Groom’s Aunty).

Late evening after taking so many different experiences return back to the hotel for the deepest sleep as you will be tired from attending full day and multiple events.

Food: In India, feeding and drinking water is an act of virtue.

Day 05: Teeka/ Baraat

Morning breakfast gets ready for the next day’s fun where a groom will go to the bride’s home to get married finally.

Groom: Will be getting ready in the late afternoon by wearing a traditional dress especially a SHERBANI OR Suit and all other people will also change their guise for BARAAT. Most people put on new clothes and try to show special styles and look different.

BARAAT: we call Baraat to the all-public join a groom while going to the bridal home to get her to the groom’s home.

When a Baraat reaches the city or village of the Bridal home they get a ready BAND for full enjoyment of dance and singing.

It is an amazing moment for all Baraatis to enjoy a lot and dance, and take a number of photographs. In India, it won’t be a big surprise that few people will be dancing after drinking.
Famous Dance: When Indian dance in BARAAT they demand a NAAGIN Song where you will see many people will be on the floor trying to BITE each other like SNAKE because NAAGIN means female Snake.
BARAAT Takes too much time to reach the bridal door as people dance for a longer time.

TEEKA Ceremony: Later on once they reach the Door of the Bridal, there is another ceremony, called TEEKA.

Here a Pandit Jee stops a groom at The Main door of the Bridal and they do POOJA. it takes almost 20-25 Minutes time to get into the house or hotel or tent area of the marriage.

Dinner: Baraat goes to the tent /hall to get evening welcome drinks, snacks, and then a special dinner, you can again taste different kinds of meals here as the bridal’s parents try to arrange a better number of dishes for BARAAT.

JAY MALA Ceremony (stage Program):
Late evening around 22:00hrs a Bridal comes on the stage with a very authentic and traditional dress and very nicely done makeup to look beautiful.

Bridal wears a LAHANGA which is specially designed in INDIA for marriage only.

Once a bridal reach on stage Bridal and groom both stand together in front of each other and some members from the Bridal side and some from the Groom side stand for a celebration of their JAY MALA ( Garlanding).

In between you see a very different character of a photographer which we miss focusing on, they will be playing a very important role in the entire marriage. On the stage, a photographer sets to Bridal and Groom for garlanding and taking memorable snapshots.

Once all set first Bridal put a garland on Groom’s neck later on the groom put a garland on the Bridal’s neck and once it is done, the public makes a noise and claps for them to get happy married life.

Most of the Baraat and relatives start thinking to leave the marriage place to return to their home if they are staying nearby a village or place.

MID NIGHT:
FERE: There is the most important and real marriage is incomplete until the Bridal and Grooms get the FERE (07 rounds of Fire) with the proper acceptance of 07 promises which will be given by a groom to bridle and a bridle give few promises to the Groom.

It takes a long time of 30 minutes and this ceremony mostly comes to mind at night when most people get tired and go to the bed but ladies and old age person and bridal family members are always there to witness each moment.

You can also join them for this event if you don’t feel sleepy.

6

Day 06: Vidayi – Bridal leaving to the Groom House

There would be so many other small –small ceremony and after breakfast in the morning, people will start saying to go back as early as possible to the groom’s house. Finally around 09:00hrs, a bridle will be prepared to take the groom home and you will be shocked to see a dramatic scene of a number of ladies, and the bridle will start crying. It is normal for a close relationship between a mother, brother, sister, father, uncle, and aunties but in the VIDAYI some neighbors also feel weep for a girl who is leaving them permanently.

This is how BARAAT goes back to the GROOM’s house and they reach their home with Bridle.

BAHU- BETA: Once Bridle reaches at groom’s house again the Groom’s mother, especially welcomes Bridle and stops her at the door for 30-40 minutes to do all the formalities and welcome her.

THE WEDDING TOUR Ends here…

Here we can gift something special to the GROOM AND BRIDLE to make them feel special and we can give our blessings or good wishes for their happy married life.

We shall transfer you to the railway station to board your train to the Love city called Agra to see the sign of real love TAJMAHAL. On arrival at Agra station, our driver will take you to the hotel. Evening you can relax after getting tired from marriage.
